San Antonio Texas Family Fun

Are you ready for some San Antonio Texas Family Fun? If so, you've found the right site! We are here to show you all of the great things to see and do while you are visiting San Antonio!

San Antonio, also known as The Alamo City, is the Number One tourist destination in the great state of Texas. We have more than 1.3 million residents who love our city. We are the seventh largest city in the United States of America boasting over 26 million visitors each year. Why?

There are so many reasons which you will discover when you get here! A few of them are listed below on this page. Our Number One tourist attraction in the great state of Texas is The Alamo, pictured above in a photo taken by me. You've seen The Alamo in the movies on the big screen, as well as on TV...now experience it in real life in beautiful downtown San Antonio. Admission is FREE.

While you are downtown, you must visit our Number Two tourist attraction--the world-famous Riverwalk, pictured to the left, also taken by me. The Riverwalk is a great place to eat, shop, exercise, take a river cruise, or just chill with a cold soft drink. Admission to the Riverwalk is FREE and it is one of my favorite places to go.

This is a great city with many things to do, museums to visit, concerts, the symphony, the ballet, plays, musicals, places to shop, fabulous food, movies, sports (Can you say SPURS?), water slides, SeaWorld San Antonio, and a Six Flags theme park called Fiesta Texas.

My family and I have lived here now for over 13 years. My husband was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. His family moved to a ranch out in Leakey, Texas, when he was 12 years old. We visit Leakey and the surrounding area often and we actually lived there ourselves for about a year so we will share information with you about the Texas Hill Country as well as other towns close to us.

My father used to visit San Antonio once a month after he got out of the Air Force back in the 1950s. While he was stationed in North Africa during the Korean war, he injured his eye and had to come down from Fort Worth once a month for treatment at the military hospital. He would spend his down time on the Riverwalk, loving every minute of this city and spoke about it often as I was growing up.

Get ready to visit our city Deep In The Heart of Texas, as the old song goes. You will fall in love with San Antonio Texas and you will want to come back again and again, all year long, year after year!
