Fiesta Texas San Antonio

Our local amusement park is called Fiesta Texas San Antonio, better known as Six Flags San Antonio. It boasts a Texas-shaped swimming pool, water slides, and a ton of family fun! Bring the kids and come to have a great day of fun.

This great Six Flags park has tons of rides and shows to keep kids of all ages happy. Snack on a yummy roasted turkey leg while you watch a live outdoor show.

Ride on the Superman roller coaster. My teens love it. I went on it once and while my feet dangled in midair and I tried not to hurl, I decided that if I lived, I would never do it again! For me, once was more than enough. Apparently, from the long lines at this roller coaster, I am the only one who thinks this way!

There is a brand new roller coaster called The Goliath. My daughter and her boyfriend went on it just this week and they absolutely loved it. Tiffany says this is her new favorite Six Flags San Antonio ride.

Pictured above is the Superman roller coaster at Fiesta Texas. I have been on this and it is terrifyingly fast, especially when you are flipped upside down! You will scream and then want to do it all over again!

There are a lot of rides that are family friendly if you have young children. Your teens will love all of the roller coasters and other such scary rides.

The food is pretty good. Be prepared to spend too much, especially on drinks if you visit in the summer. It is hot in San Antonio and you will need to drink a lot to stay hydrated in the heat.

Bring enough money to buy the kids a Bugs Bunny. There are adult souvenirs as well. Make sure you bring your camera as photo opportunities abound all over the park.

Bring your sunscreen and your bathing suits and go for a swim in the pool shaped like Texas. How fun is that? Makes for a great photo with Texas as a backdrop.

One-day tickets are $48.99 at the gate. Cheaper if you buy them online at the Six Flags website. Directions, hours of operation, and other information can also be found here.

A one day parking pass at Fiesta Texas San Antonio is $15. If you live in or around San Antonio, buy season passes and a season parking pass and visit the park often for maximum fun.
